The President of India, through the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India has created a proposals from a reputed Consulting Agency having proven expertise across the textile value chain including a comprehensive understanding of the textile waste supply chain and competence for conducting a study on ‘Mapping of Textile Waste Value Chain in India’.
The overall objective of the Proposal is to assess the current state of textile waste and associated industry for crafting policies to make India a global hub for sourcing sustainable and circular textiles and garments.
